  |   Enhancing Business with Videos   |   No comment

Not all the animation movies touch  your heart in the same magnitude. But again, there are some extraordinary pieces at your disposal in some fine year that just refuse leave your head and heart of course…

Wreck It Ralph

It is witty, ingenious, entertaining, visually ambitious and packed with inside jokes for arcade gamers of the 90’s. I grew up with 8 bit and 16 bit games and Wreck-it Ralph takes me to that world very nicely. A remembrance of a time when I was into games and how almost everyone I played/loved were referenced in the film.

But even for a person completely alien to the arcade gaming world , it has all the elements that makes you fall in love with the characters ,their quirky traits , while enjoying the movie all the same.

It’s a very touching tale about friendship and staying true to yourself. One must give it a watch!

Not seen it yet? Rush now ! Why? Because Wreck it Ralph 2 is also on it’s way  😀 😀 !!

Wall E

With IMDb rating of 8.4, this animation work even made many people fall into tears; for good reasons off course.

A story so intriguing that it jiggles your mind to think out of the life. WALL-E, short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class, is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet, one piece of garbage at a time. In the course of 700 years, WALL-E has developed a personality, and he’s more than a little lonely. It is then when he finds EVE (Elissa Knight), a sleek and shapely probe sent back to Earth on a scanning mission. Smitten WALL-E embarks on his greatest adventure yet when he follows EVE across the galaxy.

Up

Up,” was a comedy adventure about a balloon salesman named Carl Fredricksen. He is 78-years old man who in the quest of finally fulfilling  his lifelong dream of a great adventure. He ties thousands of balloons to his house and then he flies away to the South African wilds. But, he what he discovers is a surprising element of the movie. Carl’s biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip. He meets an eight-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell, who is overly optimistic in nature. For what follows you need give ‘’Up” a watch!

With IMDb rating of 8.3 and Rotten Tomatoes rating of 8.7, this movie was in an very amusing. It has all the elements of fun and excitement. Up is a well crafted story that has been told with wit and arranged with depth, as well as yet another visual Pixar treat.

Spirited Away

This movie is the creation of Hayao Miyazaki who is the animation maestro. The movie is essentially about Chihiro, who is ten year old girl. The film starts with Chihiro moving with her family on an outing where her father moves through roads of some remote of the country. Suddenly, they come across a blocked tunnel and Chihiro doesn’t like that place. She finds it creepy. Against their expectations, they find an abandoned amusement park when they pass through that tunnel.

Chihiro continues to feel the evil vibes. Her parents finds something to eat in the meanwhile. As they eat those tasty purloined morsels, they turn into giant pigs.

Chihiro understandably freaks out and flees. She understands that the place is weird. It was a place  where all sorts of bizarre gods and monsters reside. Soon after becoming friends with a boy named Haku, Chihiro learns the rules of the land: one, she must work , as laziness of any kind is not tolerated; and two, she must take on the new moniker of Sen. If she forgets her real name, Haku tells her, then she will never be permitted to leave. This animation flick was able to secure a ranking of 8.6 on both  IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes.

Spirited Away is a beaming, alluring, and appealingly drawn fairy tale that leaves its viewers curious and fascinated by the world around them.

Toy Story 3

“Toy Story 3” welcomes Woody, Buzz and the whole gang back to the big screen as Andy prepares to depart for college and his loyal toys find themselves in… daycare!

They cannot be tamed, they have little finger which are way too sticky that it even hinders them from playing. So they plan an escape.

You can see some new faces joining the adventure. They are Ken (a barbie look alike), Mr Pricklepants(yes the name is so amusing!) and a teddy bear named Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear who smells like strawberries.

Toy Story 3 mixes the honesty, amusement and adventure very well. Surprisingly, it is a rare second sequel that really worked and secured a 8.4 IMDb ranking and 8.9 Rotten Tomatoes ranking, earning a whopping $41.5 million on the US box office.

It’s Such a Beautiful Day

It’s Such A Beautiful Day shall look like comic story of a stickman. His name is Bill. Bill struggles a lot with his life. The maker of the movie, Don Hertzfeldt portraits the stickman’s life like a series of tiny shorts taken from a big picture. In the background you can hear a classical music.

It’s a fearless attempt to get inside the mind of someone who’s losing theirs, and Hertzfeldt has a grip on the idea and reality of death that’s deeply unsettling.

As the movie ends, Bill learns to fondle the possibility of his own mortality without scare, and in turn, “he lives and he lives until all the lights go out.” The bitter end may not be so bitter after all.

It is surely Hertzfeldt’s masterpiece!

Inside Out

Here we have probably the best the Pixar has ever delivered. It’s brainy, persuasive, amusing, and beautiful.

If that sounds “watchable” to you, then go for it.

With a story focused on the life of a young girl — Riley — and what goes on inside her mind via characters representing her different emotions. Inside Out is Pixar’s best film since Toy Story 3, one of their best ever in fact, and I think it was destined to be one of their most successful.

In a nutshell,  it is imaginative, splendidly animated, and effectively moving, Inside Out is another distinguished addition to the Pixar collection of modern animated classics.

The Incredibles

It is a simply astounding feat of animation with such attention paid to details like the lighting and even the hair of characters. It has been assembled with an intense amount of care and love so that every cut, every sound, every movement, builds to a euphonious whole.

It was a blockbuster with a story! Moreover, it had great animation to boot. The themes of having a ‘normal’ life and family really ring true in this film. I think the movie is actually ‘speaking’ to adults and is entertaining to both adults and kids.  THIS IS THE BEST PICTURE PIXAR HAVE DONE! And it isn’t your typical Disney poop either. This is actually really great (not that the previous Pixar movies weren’t, they were awesome!) but this movie is above awesome! You people agree??

This incredible and action-packed fun for the entire family movie was able to secure an IMDb rating of 8 and RT rating of 8.3. This truly is a film that turns is every bit as incredibly good as it has been made out to be.
